The kitchen and the bathroom counters were a mess. Replacing them would have cost a fortune. So I ordered an epoxy kit and painted over the existing counters to look sort of like marble. It was my very first time doing this, so maybe it doesn't look exactly like marble, but everyone likes it.
I swear, the most unlikely objects make for funnest interior design materials. I found a broken desk and repurposed the shelf part.
